THE SHOWROOM
The Moser Studio showroom is a creative oasis located in the heart of Gilleleje, North Zealand. Designed to indulge the senses, the standalone space and sample gallery invites visitors to immerse themselves in the haptic and visual dimensions of natural stone. Stone carpentry demonstrates the technical elements of wood carpentry and the agility of natural stone, providing a soothing backdrop for the Studio’s sample collection.
KITCHEN & RESTROOM
Intricate marble sinks form the focal point of the showroom’s kitchen and restroom, designed in collaboration with Laura Lange and each shaped from a single piece of marble. The gallery’s homely yet pared-back aesthetic celebrates architectural simplicity and clarity, allowing the innate strength and beauty of natural stone to take the spotlight.
COZY COURTYARD
The courtyard serves as a space for reflection and wonder — demonstrating the fluidity of natural stone as both an interior and exterior material. Eclectic, warm-hued cobblestones bring colour to even the greyest of winter days and exhibit the stones’ resilience amidst harsh outdoor elements and weather conditions.
Around the property
Visitors of the showroom are greeted by a unique totem — the world’s largest marble shoe, made out of marble from the quarry in Norway where Susan Moser’s family stone history started in the 1880’s. Studio Director, Susan Moser commissioned the sculpture to reflect the company’s longstanding commitment to craftsmanship while paying homage to the shoemaking business that originally occupied the front building.
Small, thoughtfully-crafted details scattered throughout the property invite guests to look more closely at the crafted elements at hand. From bespoke unidrain stone fittings to slate roofs and granite window sills — the showroom is an inspiring exhibition of the immense possibilities of natural stone.
